What to expect at your first rehabilitation visit
After booking, you receive a health questionnaire by email.
Please bring comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows movement. You may also bring imaging reports related to your injury or condition.
Your practitioner will assess your injury, symptoms, movement, and areas that are not functioning optimally. We use the assessment to develop a treatment plan and explain our findings and techniques during your appointment.
Follow-up visits are planned around the frequency of care and other resources relevant to your condition.
A doctor’s referral is not required to book physiotherapy, chiropractic care, or registered massage therapy. Some extended health plans may require a referral for reimbursement, so please check your plan before your appointment.

Insurance and billing
Most extended health plans cover physiotherapy, chiropractic care, or registered massage therapy, but coverage varies by plan.
Physiotherapy and chiropractic services include direct-billing options for many insurance providers.
If direct billing is unavailable for an eligible rehabilitation service, we may courtesy-bill: you pay upfront and we submit the receipt for reimbursement.
Our registered massage therapy information advises that extended benefits often cover allied services but states that direct billing is not available for massage therapy.
Please confirm your provider’s requirements, referral rules, annual limits, and the billing arrangement for your selected service before booking.
